Soulless Tears Revised

Chapter One
I sit on the cold, unforgiving stone bench, contemplating the stars. How many nights have I sat here doing the same thing, surrounded by the dead? I have always sat among gravestones. I have been here as long as I can remember, for this is my only home. This is where I was created and where I will stay. I live as a parasite, feeding off of the grief and pain of those who come here. I need no water for their tears quench my thirst; I need no food, for their wails are my substance. Sorrow and tragedy are my parents and they sustain me. They are my breath, my blood. They give me strength and give me health.
